Armand Jost

Armand Jost’s pluridisciplinary work experience spans 30 years: from banking to the industry, through project management and services. He boasts solid management expertise, acquired through studying and on the job

He developed his financial skills in the Banking sector in Lausanne, Geneva, Winterthur and Zurich, before joining international teams in Singapore, Tokyo and Frankfurt. As a member of the board, he was responsible for the treasury as well as the global management of asset and liability risks for the private bank of a large international group.

He pursued postgraduate studies in management control, obtaining also an Executive MBA with distinction. He then left the banking field in order to take over the management of a large industrial firm in Geneva.
As a member of upper management, he conceptualised and successfully implemented a complete management and cost control plan in a public service.
This strategic project was validated by Geneva voters with a comfortable majority.

He then taught capital markets and corporate finance at the Master level for a few years at the University of Savoie and oversaw a project at HEC Geneva for the accreditation of prior learning and the reinsertion of job-seeking executives.

The opportunity of holding an important diplomatic position and the wish to share his experience are what led him to initiate a career development programme at SB3i SA for individuals in transition.
